§ 43-17. Comments on specifications.

Pre-bid conferences with prospective bidders and offerors are desirable after draft specifications are prepared. Such conferences help detect unclear provisions and widen competition by removing unnecessarily restrictive language. Pre-bid conferences may be scheduled by the Purchasing Agent, attended by a department representative and, if requested, the County Attorney.
