§ 43-3. Effect of other requirements.

A.
To the maximum degree possible under state law — unless the County has elected to proceed under the Act — these provisions supersede the provisions of the Act. The County, in its discretion, may elect to conduct any procurement under the provisions of the Act rather than those of this chapter.

B.
Procurements involving the use of federal funds or grants may be conducted in accordance with any applicable mandatory federal law and regulation that differs from the County's policy. Nothing in this chapter shall prevent any public agency from complying with the terms and conditions of any grant, gift or bequest which is otherwise consistent with law.
