§ 41-5. When auxiliary force to be called into service.

  • The auxiliary police force may be called into service as deemed necessary by the Sheriff or, such as in times of public emergencies, when requested by the County Director of Emergency Services. Said force may also be called into service at such times as there are insufficient numbers of regular Sheriff deputies to preserve the peace, safety and good order of the county and at any time for the purpose of training.
